The workshop will be run by Dr Jill Russell from Queen Mary and the NIHR Research Design Service London, and colleagues from the NIHR Central Commissioning Facility.
Dr Russell will lead the morning session to provide general advice on how to write good research grant applications. She will also cover the support that the NIHR Research Design Service provides.
In the afternoon, colleagues from the NIHR will lead discussions about applying for the Research for Social Care (linked to the Research for Patient Benefit stream) annual call and for NIHR Programme Grants for Applied Research.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in developing their research grant writing skills for adult social care research.
The NIHR SSCR Capacity Building Workshop Series is supported by the NIHR Academy and the Department of Health and Social Care.
