Management Group

Led by the Director, the Management Group oversees the day-to-day progress and management processes in the School ensuring they operate in accordance with the decisions of the Executive Board. The Group monitors on-going research studies and assesses final reports.

• Professor Katherine Runswick-Cole, SSCR Deputy Director (Public Involvement & Engagement and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion)

• Jen Hill, SSCR Programme Manager

The Management Group meets monthly (usually by videoconference) and will include other members of the Executive and professional support staff (PSS) on an ad hoc basis as the need arises.

The Management Group is responsible for: 

• monitoring day-to-day progress of the School, 

• overseeing the processes for the management of the School, ensuring that they are operating smoothly in accordance with the Business Plan and the decisions of the Executive Group, 

• reviewing and providing feedback on reports from ongoing research which includes progress reports, final and follow-on project reports and any requests for changes to agreed project protocols or timescales, 

• ensuring that financial arrangements and contracts are in place to distribute resources to School members.
