Exploring culture, religion and dementia care within UK-based ethnic minority communities
This studentship aims to (i) understand how religion and culture shape knowledge, attitudes, and practices in caring for people with dementia, among ethnic minorities of different religions in the UK (ii) map the current UK based understanding of sociocultural and religious heterogeneity for dementia, (ii), and (iii) understand ethnic community perspectives on current UK based guidelines for dementia management and care for ethnic minorities and religious backgrounds.
