Career to date: As a full-time caregiver for my grandmother who had Alzheimer’s, I felt a deep need to understand dementia better and to advocate for those affected by it. Throughout my time caring for my grandmother, I made educational videos sharing my journey as a caregiver. Through my posts, I shared our experiences, spread awareness, and became a passionate advocate for dementia, working with charities and various media channels. I have completes my MSc in Dementia studies at Brighton and Sussex medical school in Dementia Studies working on the DETERMIND project. My focus is now on improving care home services for residents and their families.
