Migrant families may face unique challenges in living with a diagnosis of dementia or caring for a family member living with dementia within the UK.
This award will support Adele to develop – through meaningful consultation and preparation with social care and public health experts – a study to explore the experiences of recent migrants living with dementia or who care for a person with dementia. Her aim is to establish what helps people living with dementia and carers who recently migrated to England to maintain quality of life.
