Natasha’s current research comprises a feasibility study of a care bundle (SAFER-MH). SAFER-MH aims to improve quality and safety of discharge from inpatient mental health settings, and introduces a number of changes to practice, including the co-creation of a patient written discharge plan. At present, this feasibility study, like similar transitions research, excludes individuals with dementia.
This award will support Natasha to conduct a series of workshops to co-create a dementia inclusive version of the SAFER-MH care bundle, and apply for a fellowship to conduct a large scale RCT of the care bundle.
